We use many methods when pouring injection molds. According to the type of gating system, molds can be divided into the following three categories:

(1) Hot runner mold: The structure of this mold is the same as the thin nozzle. The biggest difference is that the runner is in one or more constant temperature hot runner plates and hot joints, no cold material is removed from the mold, and the runner and the pouring port are directly on the product, so the runner does not need to be demolded. This system is also called an anhydrous system, which can save raw materials. It is suitable for situations where the price of raw materials is high and the product quality requirements are high. Design and processing are difficult, and mold costs are high.

Hot runner system, also known as hot runner system, is mainly composed of hot runner casing, hot runner plate and temperature control electric box. Our common hot runner system has two forms of single hot runner and multiple hot runners. The single-point hot runner uses a single hot runner bushing to inject molten plastic directly into the cavity. It is suitable for single-cavity single-gate plastic molds; multi-point hot gates are used to split the molten material to each hot gate through the hot runner plate. The sub-heated sprue sleeve enters the cavity again, which is suitable for single-cavity multi-point or multi-cavity molds.

(2) Dagukou mold: the gate and gate are located on the parting line, and they are released together with the product when the mold is opened. The design is the simplest, easy to handle, and low cost. Therefore, more people use the large nozzle system to operate.

(3) Thin nozzle: The runner and gate are not on the parting line. Usually, they are directly on the product. Therefore, it is necessary to design a multi-sub socket line. The design is more complex and the handling is more difficult. The fine outlet system is usually selected according to product requirements.
