In today's era of rapid industrialization, plastic molds have become an indispensable part of the industrial era. So what are the surface treatments commonly used in injection molds?

1. Polishing
Mainly by cutting, the surface of the material is plastically deformed to remove the polished convex part to obtain a smooth polishing method. Generally use whetstone strips, wool wheels, sandpaper, etc., mainly manual operation.

2. Fire pattern
After EDM machining, lines are left on the plastic mold. Generally, electrode processing fire patterns are not specially made, because the cost is relatively high.

3. Chemical etching
Soak the spray-printed mold and the mold with the film attached in the prepared chemical solution to corrode the bright part of the mold, and the surface of the mold will turn black after corrosion.

4. Electroplating
It is the process of depositing metal or alloy on the surface of the workpiece by electrolysis to form a uniform, dense and well-bonded metal layer, which is electroplating.

5. Sandblasting
Sandblasting is a process of workpiece surface treatment, which uses compressed air as power to form a high-speed jet to spray the spray material onto the surface of the workpiece to be treated, so that the appearance or shape of the workpiece surface changes.
